Connecting Your Subscription to the App

Already have an amp Membership but can't get into the app? This usually comes down to an email mismatch — the email on your subscription isn't the same as the one tied to your device purchase. Here's how to fix it.


How to connect your subscription as an Account Owner

  1. Open the amp app and sign in.

  2. On the membership screen, tap I have an amp subscription and select "Owner"

  3. Enter the email you used when you purchased your device.

  4. Check that inbox for a verification email from amp — tap the link.

  5. You're in. Both emails are now linked and you can use either one going forward.

💡 Not sure which email you used? Check your inbox for your original amp order confirmation — that's the one you need.

How to connect your subscription as an Household Member

  1. Open the amp app and sign in.

  2. On the membership screen, tap I have an amp subscription and select "Family Member"

  3. You should be prompted to reach out to the Account Owner

  4. Once the Account Owner has shared access, you can click the link in the email you receive to connect your account. You can also see all the details about How to Accept a Household Invitation!


Frequently asked questions

I followed the steps but still can't get in.

Close and reopen the app after tapping the link — it can take a few minutes to sync. Still blocked after 10 minutes? Contact our support team.

The app still shows a paywall even though my subscription is active.

Usually an the email might still be not connected or there is a delay in connecting the information. Make sure you're signed in with the same email you used to purchase. If everything looks right and you're still seeing it, reach out and we'll take a look.
